What Trocador is
Trocador is a privacy-focused aggregator: it compares and routes no-account swaps across a set of instant-exchange partners rather than running a single desk of its own. It ranks eleventh of the 15 instant exchangers we track. Swaps can be started without an account.
How aggregation works here
Trocador forwards your order to a partner exchanger, which handles custody and delivery during the swap. It surfaces information about each partner, including KYC posture, so users can choose accordingly. That means the reliability of a given swap rests with the underlying provider, and any dispute can involve both parties. Confirm which partner is fulfilling your order before sending.
What we measured
- Track record: about five and a half years of operating history by our records.
- Latency: our probe did not return a reliable response time, so we do not report a speed figure.
- Status transparency: our probe was blocked, so we could not confirm a public status page.
Caveats
No account is needed to begin, but the fulfilling partner sets its own verification policy, which can vary widely. We do not verify quoted rates or fees. Because you are relying on a third-party provider, read the partner details Trocador shows and start small on unfamiliar routes.
Who it is for
Suited to privacy-conscious users who want to compare partners and their policies in one place. Less suitable for those who want a single accountable counterparty or verified performance data, which we could not fully capture here.
