StealthEX overview
StealthEX is a registration-free instant exchange that swaps one cryptocurrency for another and sends the result to your own wallet. It sits fifth of the 15 instant exchangers we track, and third when ranked purely on our combined signals for this cohort. The pitch is simplicity: no account to open before you can trade a pair.
How swaps happen
You send the asset you hold, StealthEX sources the counter-asset and forwards it to your address. During that brief window it holds your funds, so the usual instant-exchanger trade-off applies: delivery depends on the operator and on liquidity, and problems route to support rather than resolving automatically on-chain.
What our data shows
- Track record: about eight and a half years of operating history by our records.
- Latency: our probe measured a quick response near 109 ms.
- Status transparency: we found no dedicated public status page, so you have limited real-time visibility if a swap stalls.
Risks worth knowing
Starting a swap needs no account, but instant exchangers in general reserve the right to request verification on transactions flagged by compliance systems, which can delay a payout. We do not verify StealthEX's fees or rates. As with any float-based swap, send a small test first on unfamiliar pairs and double-check the destination address, since transactions are irreversible.
What our latency probe does and does not tell you
The 109 ms figure is how quickly StealthEX's front end responded to our automated request. It is a useful proxy for a maintained, responsive service, and StealthEX scored well on it. But it is not settlement speed: how long your coins actually take to arrive is driven by the deposit and payout networks, current congestion, and required confirmations, none of which an exchange fully controls. A fast website can still sit behind a slow Bitcoin confirmation, so treat our probe as an operations signal rather than a delivery guarantee.
Good fit / poor fit
It fits users wanting a fast, no-signup swap between wallets with a solid multi-year record behind it. It is a weaker choice for anyone who needs guaranteed recourse, insured custody, or a published uptime feed. If a swap does stall, the absence of a status page means you will likely be checking support channels rather than a live incident feed.
