Apostro: Morpho and Euler Vault Curator Explained

Apostro is a DeFi risk firm that sets up and curates lending vaults on Morpho and Euler 110. A curator picks which lending markets a vault can supply to and with what limits. Depositors keep their own vault shares 14. Apostro's vault terms name the contracting company as Salsa Labs Corp., based in Panama, and say the vaults are for professional users, not consumers 3. Apostro's largest Morpho deposits are in two Resolv-focused vaults. Those have been illiquid since the March 2026 Resolv USR exploit 89. Data checked October 23, 2026.

Who operates Apostro

Apostro describes its business as kick-starting and curating on-chain money markets, each built around a specific trading strategy 1. Its blog dates back to late 2022. It includes a 2023 deep dive on economic risk and risk parameters and a 2023 announcement about expanding to Arbitrum 5. The homepage names Lemniscap, Coinbase and Inception as backers, but doesn't give a round size or date 1.

The legal setup differs by document. The 2022 website notice is issued simply by "Apostro" 4. The vault notice, updated November 10, 2025, says you contract with Salsa Labs Corp., a Panamanian company 3. That notice:

  • limits use to people acting "in a professional capacity," not as consumers;
  • excludes sanctioned persons and people in jurisdictions where vault use is prohibited;
  • applies English law, with binding LCIA arbitration in London and a class-action waiver;
  • caps the company's liability at US$1,000 or six months of vault charges, whichever is greater 3.

Apostro also builds Vera, an AI-agent toolkit for researching smart contracts 1.

What Apostro does as a curator

On Morpho, the curator sets a vault's allowed markets, supply caps and fees, and appoints allocators. Most of these changes take effect only after a timelock. A guardian (V1) or sentinel (V2) can veto risky pending changes 14. Apostro's Morpho vaults use a 3-day timelock 7. Its vault notice says the company sets the "Vault Parameters." It also says Apostro doesn't fully audit or monitor the third-party protocols, tokens and oracles the vaults rely on 3.

Vaults and chains

Morpho, as of October 23, 2026 278:

Vault Chain Status Approx. assets Fee
Apostro VNX Swiss Franc VCHF Base Listed $243,000 10%
Apostro Resolv USDC Ethereum Unlisted, illiquid $1.39M reported 10%
Apostro Resolv USDC Base Unlisted, illiquid $758,000 reported 10%
Apostro Ethena USDe Ethereum Unlisted $58,000 10%

The VCHF vault lends Swiss-franc stablecoins against cbETH and cbBTC 8. Apostro's site also names a USDe market, which lends against Ethena collateral 28.

Euler. Third-party tracker TradingStrategy lists three Apostro-curated Euler vaults: USDC Core on Ethereum (peak about $10 million), Resolv on Base and a BNB Chain vault. Each charges a 10% performance fee and no management fee 10. These figures weren't checked against Euler's own app.

Fees

Apostro is paid through the vault performance fee, a share of the interest depositors earn. That fee is 10% on its active Morpho vaults, with no management fee 7. There's no deposit or withdrawal fee from the vault contract itself, but network gas applies.

Risks to understand

  • Collateral risk. A vault is only as safe as the collateral its markets accept. Apostro's Resolv vaults were built to lend against Resolv's USR, wstUSR and RLP tokens, and against aprUSR, Apostro's own USR vault token 813. When USR failed, those markets were left with debt that couldn't be liquidated 12.
  • Withdrawal risk. A vault can only pay out what's not lent. When a market is 100% utilized, withdrawals stop until borrowers repay or are liquidated 8.
  • Restricted legal recourse. The vault notice caps the company's liability, requires arbitration in London and excludes consumers 3.
  • Small active book. Apostro's only listed Morpho vault held about $243,000 on October 23, 2026 67.

Questions about Apostro

Is Apostro the same as Resolv?
No. Resolv issues the USR stablecoin. Apostro is an independent curator that ran vaults lending against Resolv's tokens 712.
Can US retail users deposit into Apostro vaults?
The vault notice says vaults are for professional users, not consumers, and excludes sanctioned or prohibited jurisdictions. It doesn't list the US by name 3. Check the current notice before depositing.
Who holds the funds in an Apostro vault?
The Morpho or Euler smart contracts hold them. The curator sets the parameters but can't withdraw depositors' assets for itself 14.
Does Apostro have a token?
No Apostro token was found in the sources reviewed. aprUSR is a vault share token, not a company token 13.
Where can I compare curators?
See the Morpho & Euler curator ratings. For CoinPulse's separate evaluation, see CoinPulse's Apostro rating and evidence. Background on how this kind of failure starts: stablecoin depegs.
