Bueno is a set of web tools that lets artists and brands create and launch NFT collections without writing code. Its best-known product is a generator that combines layered artwork into large generative collections, such as 10,000 unique images with set rarities 15. Bueno also offers drop pages, a contract deployer, allowlist forms and Buenoverse, a builder for interactive worlds with an AI tool that turns sketches into game assets 1. It is operated by Blush Design, Inc., a California company, under the name Bueno 3. Bueno is a creation tool, not a marketplace, and does not hold users' wallets 3.

Who operates Bueno

Bueno's Terms of Service identify the company behind it as Blush Design, Inc., doing business as Bueno, with a notice address in Walnut, California 3. The terms have been in effect since 8 September 2022 and are governed by California law 3. Bueno's website does not name its founders or investors. It reports more than 21,000 creators, more than 2 million tokens generated and more than $20 million earned by creators, figures it does not date or break down 1.

Products

NFT Generator. Creators upload artwork in layers (backgrounds, bodies, accessories and so on), set rarity percentages and rules such as which traits cannot appear together, preview the results and generate the full set of images and metadata 15. Files can be stored on IPFS, a decentralized file network, at no extra charge 2.

Drops. Turns a single illustration, video or photo into a limited or open edition NFT, with drop pages on Ethereum, Polygon and Base 1. Bueno began rolling out Drops in early 2023 6.

Smart Contract deployer. Deploys an ERC721A contract, a gas-efficient version of the standard NFT contract, for a collection made in the generator 4. The contract is deployed from the creator's own wallet, so the creator owns it and controls its settings, including secondary-sale royalties 4. Bueno says the deployer was audited by 0xMacro 4.

Forms. Allowlist sign-ups, surveys, email collection and event registration. Forms can require a wallet connection, a minimum ETH balance, a Discord role or ownership of a specific token, which lets creators gate access to holders 1.

Buenoverse. A browser-based builder for interactive worlds and simple games, with real-time collaboration, a library of about 2,500 assets and an AI generator that turns sketches into finished assets 1. This is the AI-related part of Bueno's product line.

Pricing

Bueno publishes its prices 2:

Product Cost
Art Generator Free to start, with unlimited collections; generating a collection is priced per token, listed at $0.19 (0.000045 ETH) per token
Smart Contract Free to deploy; Bueno takes 5% of primary sales
Drops Free to deploy; Bueno takes 5% of primary sales
Forms Free, unlimited

Bueno takes no share of secondary-sale royalties 24. Creators also pay blockchain gas to deploy contracts, and gas is not refundable 2. Bueno accepts payment in ETH only 2, and its terms say payments are nonrefundable and prices can change 3.

The pricing page's calculator shows a different figure (0.005 ETH for 1,000 tokens) from its per-token rate, so check the final quote in the app before paying.

Custody, contracts and risks

Bueno does not take custody of funds or NFTs. Its terms state that it has no custody or control over the contents of users' wallets 3, and contracts are deployed from the creator's wallet 4. That means:

  • You are responsible for your keys. Losing access to the deploying wallet can mean losing control of the contract.
  • Signature risk. Connecting a wallet to any NFT tool exposes you to phishing sites posing as that tool. Use bueno.art directly, check each transaction before signing, and see crypto phishing.
  • Audit limits. The 0xMacro audit covers Bueno's deployer contracts as reviewed at the time. It does not guarantee against future bugs or cover third-party marketplaces.
  • Ownership of art. Bueno's terms say content created with its generator belongs to the user and that Bueno claims no ownership of it 3. Users must have the rights to the artwork they upload 3.
  • Product status. Some help-center pages are more than two years old, and the site footer reads "© 2024" 15. Confirm current chain support and features in the app.
