What Is NFTGo? NFT Analytics, Rarity and Pricing Models, and the NFTGo API

NFTGo is an NFT data company, founded in 2021, that turns on-chain NFT trading activity into market dashboards, rarity rankings and price estimates 112. It offers three things:

  • NFTGo.io, a web platform where collectors analyze collections and, through an aggregator, buy NFTs listed on other marketplaces 23.
  • Developer services, a paid NFT Data API with trading and valuation tools for businesses 578.
  • GoRarity, its open-source rarity model 9.

NFTGo does not have its own token. Its documentation is largely Ethereum-focused 45.

What NFTGo does

NFTGo's documentation describes four steps: discover, analyze, trade and track 1.

  • Discover. Collection rankings, new mints and whale tracking (wallets holding or trading large amounts) 3.
  • Analyze. Market-wide and per-collection metrics such as volume, holders and floor price, alongside NFTGo's own rarity and price estimates 189.
  • Trade. An aggregator gathers listings from several marketplaces so you can buy, including in bulk, from one screen. The FAQ names OpenSea, LooksRare, X2Y2 and CryptoPunks as sources, a list that predates later market changes 3.
  • Track. Watchlists and wallet portfolio views 3.

NFTGo says its data comes from its own engine that collects and parses blockchain transactions 3. Collections are listed automatically once they meet thresholds for trading volume, number of sales and contract status 4. For background, see what is an NFT.

How GoRarity and GoPricing work

GoRarity ranks how unusual an NFT is within its collection. It compares each NFT's traits with every other NFT in the collection using Jaccard distance, a standard measure of how different two sets are, then normalizes for collection size 9. The model is open source, so anyone can reproduce the ranking 9.

GoPricing estimates a value for every NFT. Its method is the collection's floor price plus a "trait premium" that a machine-learning model learns from past sales, with wash trades (self-dealing sales that inflate volume) removed 8. NFTGo compares this to valuing houses: a building's base price plus extras for features 8.

Both are models, not appraisals. In thin markets a single sale can move the floor, and rare traits may have few comparable sales, so an estimate can differ widely from what a buyer will actually pay.

API, compute units and costs

The NFTGo Data API serves NFT and collection data, wallet profit and loss, listings and offers, charts and full transaction history 5. Developers register at developer.nftgo.io and authenticate with an API key in each request 5.

Usage is billed in compute units (CU) according to how heavy each call is 6:

Example call Cost
NFT by token ID 10 CU
NFTs held by one owner 60 CU
All NFTs in a collection 80 CU
Collection metrics 30 CU

The free trial is limited to five requests per second 5. The documentation reviewed does not state the dollar price per CU or the subscription prices for nftgo.io. Check developer.nftgo.io for current plans.

Two business products sit on top of the API 78:

  • GoTrading lets a company run its own NFT marketplace or aggregator. It handles listings, offers, bulk buys and sells, and order queries, and lets the operator set its own marketplace fee 7.
  • GoPricing delivers the valuation model through an API endpoint 8.

Wallets, data and risks

NFTGo does not hold your NFTs or funds. When you buy through the aggregator, you connect your own wallet and the trade settles on the marketplace where the NFT is listed 37. That means:

  • Read what you sign. Approvals can let a contract move your NFTs. Revoke approvals you no longer need, and see crypto phishing.
  • Marketplace fees and royalties still apply from the source marketplace, plus network gas. GoTrading also allows operators to add their own fee 7. For the full buying process, see how to buy an NFT.
  • Data is NFTGo's interpretation. Wash-trade filtering, rarity ranks and price estimates are model outputs 89. Customer figures (1 million+ retail users; 500 to 3,000+ institutional clients, depending on the page) are company claims that vary across its own documents 123.
  • Documentation age. Parts of the documentation were last updated more than a year ago, and the changelog's newest entries are over two years old (as of October 2026) 510. Confirm current features, chains and prices on nftgo.io before relying on them.

Company background

NFTGo was founded in 2021 12. In February 2022 it closed a $6.75 million pre-Series A round led by Qiming Venture Partners, with SeaX Ventures, Youbi, Circle, Altonomy, Zonff Partners, Hash Global and mask.io participating 11. At the time it reported a team of more than 30 and said it planned support for more blockchains and new metrics 11. The release named its founder and CEO only as "Lowes" 11.

Incident record

No security incident involving NFTGo was found in the sources reviewed (as of October 23, 2026). This reflects the sources checked and is not a guarantee.

No security incident found in the sources checked as of October 23, 2026. That is a dated observation, not a promise that none has happened.

Hacks in DefiLlama’s public database are also scored as the security record on the NFTGo rating page.
