Who runs Quickex

Quickex is run by Blockex Lab Corp, according to its Terms of Use. The company is registered in Panama with registration number 155772742 and an address on Via España in Panama City 1. A second company, Angel Venture Partners Limited of Mahe, Seychelles, holds certain intellectual property rights. The terms say it does not provide services to users. They also say some services, including exchange services, may be provided by other operating companies or partners 1.

The company dates its launch to 2018 12. It describes itself as a software provider that does not carry out activities requiring regulatory oversight 8. That is the company's own position. No license or registration was found in the sources reviewed. The team behind the service is not named on the pages checked.

How a Quickex swap works

A Quickex swap is an order routed to an outside exchange, not a trade against Quickex's own reserves. The Terms define each exchange as being carried out "through a Third-Party service," with that service's fees applied 2. The site's interface text names Bybit, OKX, Gate and Binance as the venues it compares for rates 11.

The basic flow:

  1. Choose the coin and network you send and the coin and network you receive.
  2. Pick a fixed or floating rate and enter your receiving address. Add a memo or destination tag if the receiving wallet needs one.
  3. Send the exact amount to the one-time deposit address the system generates 3.
  4. After the deposit confirms, the converted coins go to your address.

Fixed rate. The quoted rate is held for a short window. The Terms cite 12 minutes in one clause and 15 minutes in another, and require the deposit within 10 minutes of confirming 34. If the market moves more than 1.3% before your transaction is detected, you choose between a refund and finishing at the market rate 3. The fixed rate is lost if you send late, send the wrong amount, split the deposit or reuse an old deposit address 4.

Floating rate. The final amount is set when the funds arrive and the exchange completes. The Terms say floating-rate amounts are recalculated "only downward" 3.

Besides the website, Quickex lists an iOS and Android app, a Telegram bot (@quickexio_bot), a Tor mirror, an API and an embeddable widget 13. An optional free account adds a cashback program that the company says is calculated from its net profit on your trades, with VIP tiers 14.

Fees

Quickex's Terms set the platform fee at 1% plus the network fee on fixed-rate swaps and 0.5% plus the network fee on floating-rate swaps 3. The fee is built into the quote, not charged separately. Several extra charges can apply in edge cases:

Situation Charge in the Terms or AML Policy
Deposit takes more than 2 hours to credit Extra 0.5% on the exchange or refund 4
Missing memo or destination tag, recovery requested At least USD 80; only for amounts over USD 30; may be refused 5
Transaction flagged as high-risk Up to 5% additional fee 10
Refund after a successful KYC check 5% commission 10

You also pay the network fee on your own deposit. The interface warns that on small swaps, network fees can take a large share of the amount 11. Fee lines were read from archived copies of the Terms (July 2026); confirm on the live page before a large swap.

Who can use it

Quickex is not open to US citizens or residents. The Terms also exclude people in countries under UN, OFAC or EU sanctions and where crypto use is banned. Using a VPN or proxy to hide your location is prohibited 6. Since at least September 2026, the site also says the service is not available to anyone located in, resident in or acting from the EU/EEA 7. Users must have full legal capacity and use the service for personal, non-commercial purposes 6.

AML checks and frozen swaps

Quickex says it does not hold user funds in deposits or balances 8. That changes when a transaction is flagged. Under its AML Policy, a transaction can be frozen "for an indefinite period" until you complete identity verification (KYC). A freeze can follow a risk score above 40% or labels such as mixer, scam, sanctions or gambling. It can also follow a request from a liquidity provider or from authorities 10. During the review, the policy says the assets are kept on the service's balance 10.

What a check asks for, per the policy 10:

  • a photo of a passport, ID card or driver's license;
  • a selfie holding the document and a handwritten note with the date and your signature;
  • source-of-funds evidence, such as withdrawal history and transaction links.

There is no fixed review time. After a successful check, the refund goes only to the address you sent from, minus 5%. Funds requested or seized by authorities are not returned 10. This model is common among no-account swap services. It means "no registration" does not guarantee "no KYC".

Limits and liability

Swaps cannot be cancelled once sent 9. Claims must be filed within 7 business days, and payout disputes within 6 hours of completion 5. Quickex may refuse service without giving reasons. Its total liability is capped at the fees you paid in the previous three months 9. Sending to the wrong network or omitting a memo can mean permanent loss 5. Quickex is not a wallet: keep coins in a wallet you control. See self-custody.

Support

The site lists email support at [email protected], an online chat and a Telegram support bot 13. The Terms make [email protected] the official address for claims 5. Support staff do not need your seed phrase or private keys. Treat anyone who asks for them as a scammer. See crypto phishing.
