TradeSanta is subscription software that runs automated trading bots on your own crypto exchange account. You connect an exchange such as Binance or OKX with an API key, set up a DCA or grid bot, and TradeSanta places the orders for you; the funds stay on the exchange, and the company says its access cannot withdraw them 7. It welcomed its first customers in fall 2018 1. Plans run from about $18 to $90 a month as of October 2026, with a 3-day free trial 23. TradeSanta does not charge per-trade fees; your exchange does 6.
TradeSanta sits between you and an exchange. The exchange holds your balance and executes orders; TradeSanta decides when to place them. When a bot starts — immediately, or when an indicator filter fires — it buys a first order of the size you set, then places a take-profit order plus a ladder of "extra orders" 9. If price moves against the position, an extra order fills, the average entry improves, and the take-profit target is moved closer. See how crypto trading bots work for background.
None of this guarantees a profit. TradeSanta's own FAQ says results depend on strategy choice and how much you risk 11. Extra orders also mean committing more money to a falling asset.
The Copy Trading section lists bots run by other users, with performance statistics and filters by exchange, strategy, spot or futures, and pair. You can copy a bot's settings, edit them and start your own 10. It works both ways: TradeSanta's terms say that by creating and activating a bot you agree that its parameters and performance history may be shown to other users. The terms say no API keys, balances or account identifiers are disclosed 10.
As of October 2026, the pricing page shows three plans with a Yearly/Monthly toggle. The lower figure appears to be the monthly price on yearly billing 2:
| Plan | Price per month | Bots | Extra features |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic | $18 (yearly) or $25 | Up to 49 | All strategies, trading terminal |
| Advanced | $32 (yearly) or $45 | Up to 99 | + Trailing take-profit, TradingView Screener signals |
| Maximum | $45 (yearly) or $90 | Unlimited | + Custom TradingView signals, futures bots |
Every new account starts with a 3-day trial of Maximum; all plans allow unlimited trading pairs and exchange connections 3. You can pay by card or in crypto 2. When a subscription lapses, bots are switched off and may be deleted after 24 hours 11.
The subscription is not the full cost. Every order pays your exchange's maker or taker fee, and futures bots add funding costs and liquidation risk 6. Most exchanges also require a minimum order of roughly $11, so a bot with several extra orders needs a multiple of that 12. See crypto trading fees.
TradeSanta's knowledge base lists these as supported 4:
Other TradeSanta pages show a slightly different set — the exchanges page also displays Kraken, and the help center has an API guide for Bybit 5. Coinbase is not on the current list. Check the exchange menu inside the app before subscribing. Your exchange's own rules on KYC, country access and leverage still apply. Profiles: Binance, OKX, HTX, Kraken.
Setup, based on TradeSanta's help center 378:
TradeSanta says its keys allow trading only and that bots cannot withdraw funds 7. A trade-only key can still lose money through bad trades if it is stolen, so delete keys you no longer use and ignore "support" that contacts you first (phishing).
TradeSanta's terms describe it as a software service and say it is not a registered broker-dealer or investment adviser 11. You are responsible for checking whether crypto trading is legal where you live; the terms do not list restricted countries 11. They limit TradeSanta's liability for trading losses and refer to a separate refund policy 11. The terms page does not name a registered company or governing law.
Hacks in DefiLlama’s public database are also scored as the security record on the TradeSanta rating page.
